Lost & Found

North York UBF hosted a Spring Bible retreat on March 9th to 11th 2012, titled Lost and Found. 40 people attended the retreat, including 11 bible students and three guests from Montreal UBF and one from London UBF.Continue reading

“What Type of Soil Are You?”

God has blessed Seneca Bible Cafe which was held on February 2nd, 2012. We study the Parable of the Sower based on Mark 4:1-20. We first discussed about the possible meanings behind the 4 types of soils, concealing Jesus’ explanation in the later part of the passage. Many different ideas were presented and discussed. Then  Andrew Han Jr. gave us a lecture based on Jesus’ explanation where people could fully understand the deeper meaning behind the parable. We learned that Jesus was teaching about the Kingdom of God and to obtain the kingdom of God we must cultivate our heart soil so that the word of God can be planted and bear the fruit of the kingdom of God. 12 Seneca students participated and Matthew Vander-Kooij (President of Campus Bible Club) hosted the Bible Cafe.Continue reading

UTSC Bible Workshop

UTSC had a fall Bible workshop with the theme ‘The Gospel’ on Nov. 2nd. 2011 at the Bible House.

David Balcarras (3rd year philosophy student) presented the first part of gospel key verses.He dealt with topics of sin, death, and judgment which describe men’s hopeless situation without the gospel. Rebecca Ellis who is 2nd year IDS student presented the second part which is consisted of the gift of God, the way of salvation, and the hope of the kingdom of God.Continue reading

Seneca Bible Cafe

    We thank God for his abundant grace and blessing for the Campus Bible Club’s first school event with 24 attendants! Many new students attended this event which was a true blessing from God.
